We have stopped in here a few times on our way through Buckley. The food and the staff are always great. We usually get fajitas.

I decided to give these guys a shot. Turned out they fit the bill. Had some good beer on tap and my usual carne asada. They nailed it. Real skirt steak grilled perfectly. Excellent grilled jalapeno and whole beans and rice. The steak was tasty and tender. The negatives were the chips, which were just OK, and the salsa was watery. Kinda bland. Service was great. The table could have been cleaner. All in all, for the dish I had, I would plan on coming back again.

My boyfriend and a couple of our friends came to Mariachi for some dinner and drinks before heading to Maris Farms nearby. It's located by a couple gas stations and a bar if you're feeling like you need another drank after dinner, which is nice!
We started dinner off with drinks, of course. My boyfriend got a THIRTY TWO OUNCE margarita, and I got the "Loco." The margarita was tasty and STRONG. The Loco is made up of four different types of rum, pineapple, and orange juice. It was definitely yummy, and you could REALLLLLYYYY tell there was alcohol in it.
For dinner, I went with the Tortilla Soup. It was a cold, rainy night and I was still getting over a cold so that sounded perfect! I'm one of the weirdest people ever because I looooove everything in the tortilla soup BESIDES THE TORTILLA STRIPS because they get too soggy for me. That was the case this time as well - not their fault, I'm just a weirdo. The soup is a thinner tortilla soup, not creamy or chunky like some other places. The broth was packed full of flavor and a little bit of spice. Definitely hit the spot for me. It's a HUGE bowl that you get, which was a pretty good deal for $11 to me.
For both mine and my boyfriend's dinners plus drinks, the damage was only $56. Not bad at all, if you ask me!
From what I've seen there's not a huge selection in this area as far as restaurants goes, so... Mariachi is a decent choice! -

My husband and I went here for dinner. He ordered a beer on tap. When he was drinking it- we noticed a big, dead fly floating in it! Gross! The server apologized many times. We got five dollars off our $65 bill. Won't ever go back!

Cozy and friendly family owned Mexican restaurant. The place was not as busy as we thought. Saturday night crowds only filled a small portion of the dining room area. There is nothing too fancy about this restaurant, rather simple and homestyle.
The menu is extensive and featured various plates, soups, and even flavored margaritas. We were served fresh house tortillas, salsa, and beans to start. I had the mariachi margarita, carne asada plate, and large nachos. The mariachi margarita is huge and definitely shareable. There's not a lot of alcohol however the novelty of ordering and finishing a huge glass of margarita is entertaining. The carne asada plate is more than enough for 2 people. The meat was perfectly cooked to medium however a little bland. The large nachos had generous amounts of melted cheese which is how I like it.
Overall, the service was good, our server checked in, and water glasses were filled.
